Chicago, Illinois-The Bears dropped their final preseason game Thursday night to the Browns 18-16.  Jay Cutler and most of the Bears starters sat out the game to guard against injury.

Jordan Palmer started in Cutler's place. He played well completing 11 of 17 passes for 111 yards. He also connected with Joe Anderson on a five yard touchdown pass. Trent Edwards saw action at quarterback in the second half. He completed 6 of 11 passes for 95 yards. He had an interception returned for a touchdown by Browns linebacker James Michael Johnson.

The Bears had a chance to pull out the win, but Robbie Gould missed wide on a 57 yard field goal attempt with just over one minute to play.  The Bears finish the preseason 2-2.  They have to reduce their roster to 53 players this weekend by making their final cuts.
