Lake Forest, Illinois-The Bears will have to make do without rookie receiver Alshon Jeffery for a while. The question is how long.

Jeffery fractured a hand last Sunday while making a touchdown catch. Early reports are that Jeffery could be out two to four weeks.

The Bears are hoping Earl Bennett can return next week from an injury to ease the loss of Jeffery. Also Tuesday they signed receiver Kamar Aiken to their practice squad. Aiken played in two games for the Bills last season. He did not have a reception. He spent part of this season on the Bills practice squad.
