Lake Forest, Illinois-The Bears are back in Lake Forest.  They held their first practice there Monday. But several Bears sat out while nursing injuries.

Linebacker D.J. Williams was one of them. His calf has been slow to heal. The coaches are concerned that he might not be in shape to play in the regular season opener.

Henry Melton and Earl Bennett also sat out practice Monday. They're still recovering from concussions.

Offensive tackle Jonathan Scott is still dealing with a sore knee. And long-snapper Patrick Manelly is bothered by sore ribs.
