Chicago, Ill.- Jay Cutler is the Bears’ starting quarterback. Who will fall in line behind him is the question. Four other quarterbacks are taking snaps this week at the team’s minicamp. They are Jordan Palmer, Jimmy Clausen, Jarrod Johnson and rookie David Fales. Only three of them will be invited to training camp and only two will make the team. Marc Trestman admits it’s unusual to have this many guys at that position but the coaches have some time to sort things out.
“I think that it's just a wait and see. You know all of these guys are getting reps. We're flipping them around in there, and giving them different plays, and giving them groups to work with. It's certainly too early to make any kind of collective decision. We'll see how this thing plays out. We've got a lot of time to do that,” says Trestman.
