LAKE FOREST, IL – The Chicago Bears have acquired TE Dante Rosario in a trade with the Dallas Cowboys for an undisclosed 2014 draft pick and waived TE Kyle Adams.

Rosario has appeared in 91 contests with 26 starts over six seasons with Carolina (2007-10), Miami (2011), Denver (2011) and San Diego (2012) after entering the NFL as a fifth round (155th overall) selection of the Panthers in the 2007 NFL Draft. The 6-3, 242-pound Rosario has grabbed 99 receptions for 1,106 yards (11.2 ypr) and eight touchdowns during his NFL career and added 23 tackles and three opponent fumble recoveries on special teams.

Adams appeared in 23 games with two starts over two seasons (2011-12) with the Bears recording four receptions for 40 yards with one special teams tackle.
