State can thank AG for money

ILLINOIS -- Nearly $1 billion was added to the Illinois revenue stream last year. It's because of the Attorney General's Office. About one-third of the money collected through the AG was for litigation for damages to state property, child support, unpaid educational loans, fines and penalties. Other collections came through tobacco litigation and estate tax revenues.
