The goal was to try and ease some of the confusion surrounding the new law. Representative Chuck Jefferson along with health department and governor's office officials took time to answer questions involving the health care law.
Officals said they wanted to help people figure out how to access health care and clear up any misinformation about the law.
"People are still playing games when it relates to Obamacare, and the fact that they don't think it's going to benefit the public," said Rep. Chuck Jefferson (D-67th District). "But I think in the long run, if they give it a chance to work, it's going to be just fine."
Jefferson said the session was full of people both excited and confused about the new health care law.
