ROCKFORD - Dozens of vendors mixed, swirled and poured their best martini creations for the 6th annual Mosaic By Moonlight event Wednesday night at the Prairie Street Brew House.

Eyewitness News' Nick Toma and Mimi Murphy emceed the festivities.

Attendees could sample martinis and appetizers from Rockford Brewing Company, Famous Dave's, Pearl, Joey C's, Lucha Cantina, Brewsky's, On State, Greenfire, The Olympic Tavern, Five Forks, Rascals, Granite City and Lone Star Steakhouse, all of whom participated in hopes of raising money for Mosaic of Rockford's cause.

The organization provides support for more than 80 adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Brook Genna, an organizer for the event is a huge fundraiser for the people they serve.  "We help individuals with intellectual disabilities," she says. "Here in Rockford, we work with all adults, but more times than not across the country we work with more small young adults, adolescents with disabilities."
