Belvidere Man and Teen Accused of More Than 50 Car Burglaries

Pair's alleged burglary spree happened over November and December.
BELVIDERE -- A 20-year-old man and a teenager are under arrest, suspected of committing more than 50 vehcile burglaries in November and December of last year.

20-year-old Issac Campbell of Belvidere is charged with seven counts of felony burglary and is being held on $50,000.00 bond.

The teenaged male was also arrested for multiple counts of burglary and will be charged as a juvenile.

Police say they recovered several items believed to be stolen, and additional charges are possible.  They credit a tip from a citizen who saw the two breaking into a vehicle.
