Bikers Ride with a Purpose this Weekend

Motorcycle Clubs from across the Stateline get together for the 2nd Annual "Fallen Fire & Police Escorted Benefit Ride" this Saturday.
BELVIDERE (WTVO) - It's a ride like no other. We're talking about the 2nd Annual "Fallen Fire & Police Escorted Benefit Ride".

To help us get ready for this event, Fire & Iron Station 53 Director Lanny Wong, Public Guardians President Jason Bergeron, Blue Iron President Chad Beitel and Public Guardians Member Keith Gille joined the Morning Show.

The Benefit Ride takes place this Saturday, July 5th. Registration goes from 8:00 am until 10:00 am, with kickstands up at 10:00 am. The cost is $20 per rider and $15 per passenger. The ride begins at the Boone County Fairgrounds in Belvidere and ends at Kegel Harley Davidson near Cherry Vale Mall. If you are not on the ride, come out and support the cause. There will be an after ride party outside of Kegel with live music, a bike show, and rider demonstration. A $5 donation gets you into the part or for an extra $5, you can have a meal included.

For more information and how to pre-register, visit www.fireandiron53.com.
