UPDATE: Former Firefighter Dies In Grain Bin Accident

GENOA - Investigators reveal Leon Madey's autopsy results.

UPDATE (5/7/14): The DeKalb Co. Coroner's Office confirms Madey died from Asphyxia due to the weight of the corn.  His death is being ruled accidental.

UPDATE (5:03pm): Rescue crews confirm the victim Leon Madey, a former Genoa firefighter, has died.  Stay tuned on air and online for more information.

GENOA - Rescue crews scramble to rescue a man who may have fallen into a grain bin.

It happened around noon at 35770 Genoa Road.  Police say a family member found the 73 year-old victim's truck next to the bin, but couldn't find him.  Police say the owner was working on the bin because it had been clogged.

We have a crew on scene and we'll have more on this situation as it develops.
