Fast-Food Workers Protest Outside a McDonald’s in Rockford

Just like workers in California, Michigan and New York some employees at a Rockford McDonald’s restaurant claim they are losing money out of their paychecks.

ROCKFORD - A lawsuit against a major fast-food company is getting national attention and affecting people in Illinois.

On Tuesday, a few fast-food employees protested outside a local McDonald’s about wage theft, and talked about the idea of bringing the Fight for 15 movement to the Stateline.

This protest was part of a nationwide effort from fast-food workers to demand big restaurant chains to treat their employees with respect, and pay back the alleged stolen wages.
