ROCKFORD - Filling up your tank isn't getting any easier.
According to GasBuddy.com, average prices went up about six cents, settling at $3.46/gallon. Nationwide, drivers are spending $3.40/gallon. Experts say we should expect prices to keep going up.
"The worst is likely yet to come" says Senior Petroleum Analyst Patrick DeHaan. "In another month we'll... start seeing refineries producing more expensive, cleaner burning summer gasoline, and that will likely keep upward pressure on retail gasoline prices."
Drivers have already seen gas prices jump 18 cents in the past month.
