JANESVILLE - A Janesville man convicted of stealing $1.8 million from his employer is sentenced. 44 year old Steven R. Stoikes will spend two years and six months in prison. It happened over a seven year period at a Janesville contractor where he worked. Prosecutors say Stoikes would order more Copper tubing than was needed for jobs, and then sell the excess for scrap. He allegedly bet more than $24 million at local casinos, and lost more than $3 million.
