ROCKFORD (WTVO) - The Rockford Park District is in the midst of their overnight camping experience and nature quest.

There are two weeks left in the Camp Lone Oak overnight camping experience, including next week, July 21st-24th. Next week's theme is "Around the World in 4 Days". The final overnight camping week takes place August 11th-14th with "Z-Week" How to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse. These overnight camps take place at the Atwood Center and are for ages 9-14.

The Nature Quest is in the final 3 weeks of an 8-week course. These courses run from July 21st through August 15th at Aldeen Park. Ages for this quest run from 5 to 10-years-old. Kids will have a new theme each week with activities that go with that theme.
