Rockford Police Investigate Three Separate Overnight Shootings

Three shootings took place across Rockford overnight.

ROCKFORD- Rockford Police Department reports the first shooting happened at 1030 East State Street.  An argument between a group of individuals started inside the Circle K. The group moved outside and an unknown suspect fired shots at the group. One person was shot and had non-life threatening injuries.

In the 1000 block of Andrew Street an aggravated battery with a firearm took place. Several people in a car started shooting at a person walking. No one has since been arrested for the shooting.

Another similar incident happened in the 900 block of Furman Street. A victim was shot several times and taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The suspect vehicle is possibly a gold SUV.
