UPDATE: Gas Station Robber Guilty

UPDATE (1/29/14): A two day jury trial ends with Hill's conviction.  He's set to be sentenced April 2.

BELOIT -- Tips from video surveillance released to the media have led to the arrest of a man suspected of armed robbery, as well as several burglaries.

48-year-old Anthony Hill is charged with robbing a Citgo Gas Station and convenience store on Shopiere Road Monday night.   He was arrested Friday at a home in South Beloit after surveillance photos were released, and is being held in the Winnebago County Jail pending extradition to Wisconsin.

Hill is also suspected of burglarizing a Speedway gas station, a Woodman' gas station, and Marathon gas station, all on July 5th.  In each case, the burglar broke through a door.
