WTVO/WQRF - One of the lucky winners of the second largest jackpot in U.S. history comes forward.
It's Georgia winner, Ira Curry. She's a native of the Bronx in New York. Curry doesn't plan on going public or talking to the media. Her sisters say they're very happy for her, but are nervous people may believe they're rich now.
Lottery officials say Curry opted for the lump sum payment, which is $170 million.
As lucky as Curry is, she's not as lucky as the California winner, that's because lottery winners there are exempt from paying a state income tax.
