ROCKFORD -- A former Rockford School District employee has been indicted by a Winnebago County Grand Jury on sex charges involving two elementary school students.

47-year-old Nestor D. Estrada has been arrested and charged with two counts of Criminal Sexual Abuse.  He is accused of having sexual contact with both a male and female student under the age of 13 while he was working at Riverdahl Elementary School.   Each count carries a sentence of 3-7 years in prison.

Estrada is being held in the Winnebago County Jail on a $500,000 bond, and is next scheduled to be in court on October 24th,

Winnebago County State's Attorney Joe Bruscato held a news conference Thursday to discuss the serious nature of the alleged crimes.  Details on 'Eyewitness News' at 5 and 6pm.
