Carrion is one of the several navigators here who help the uninsured. Work they say is rewarding, even life-changing: “One of our navigators was working with an individual in which they hadn't had health insurance for a while. And after working with this navigator they felt, they had said to the navigator, you really changed my life."
That's why even with news of all the website, people who need help shouldn't hesitate to come in. Lifescape can even come to you. Alan Jones, Marketing and Developmental Director says, “We come to help out. You know, we're there to educate people about the affordable healthcare, affordable care act. We're there to answer any questions that they may have."
State Representative Chuck Jefferson's providing a different service to teach residents about the new health care program through town hall meetings. He said, "They were grateful that I was able to take the time out and help them understand the affordable care program that's new to most of the people around here, including myself."
