It's not even Halloween yet, but retail experts say you may want to get a head-start on your holiday wish list.
The issue lies with Thanksgiving. It falls on Nov. 28 this year, that means there's only 25 days between Black Friday and Christmas, the shortest stretch it's been in a decade.
Last year, there were 31 days.
Experts say it'll lead to even more crowded stores than ever before. With the big crowds, they say it'll lead to less personalized customer service.
People will still buy the same amount of items, just in a more concentrated period.
Hanukkah even comes early this year. It begins Nov. 27.
Experts say shoppers hoping to avoid the crowds should try to go during the week when others are at work. However, avoid the lunch hour and anytime after 5pm.
You could also try shopping the week after Black Friday since many people are "shopped out" immediately following the retail holiday.
