Hot Shots Tuesday

From a gingerbread house so large they needed a foundation to hold it together, to a super cool surprise holiday marriage proposal, we've got your Tuesday Hot Shots.

In a season of big gingerbread houses, this is the largest. A 3-thousand foot-square structure that took a month to build using 18-hundred pounds of butter, 72-hundred pounds of flower and over 7 thousand eggs. Guiness says the exterior has to be edible so this qualifies. An area hospital will get nearly 200-grand in donated funds from ticket sales. Finally, Christmas came early for a North Dakota couple. But it was a surprise to only one of them. That's because Jake Peterson planned a trip to the local "festival of lights" display with a larger purpose in mind-- to ask his girlfriend Rebecca to marry him. Jake and his buddies spent the past few nights putting up the display... And when the time came, he got on one knee. They say they'll get married on 12/13/14.

Take a look at this frozen waterfall in Eastern China. Visitors are flocking to see the frozen wonder, which is formed after heavy rain. One official from the mountain resort says the best time to view the waterfall is closer to new year's, when temperatures are usually even colder.
