Rep. Paul Ryan, a Wisconsin Republican and the 2012 GOP vice presidential nominee, will write a book on the state of the conservative movement, according to the publisher Twelve, an imprint of Grand Central Publishing.
The book, "Where Do We Go from Here?" is set to hit bookshelves in August 2014. "It will challenge conventional thinking, renew the conservative vision for 2014 and beyond, and show how it is essential for the well-being of our communities and the future of our nation," read a release for the book.
According to the publisher, the contract will be submitted to the House Ethics Committee for approval, and Ryan will not receive an advance from the publisher, per House rules. However, the eight-term congressman and House Budget Committee chairman will receive royalties from sales.
