UPDATE: In what could be Cody Walsh's final pre-trial hearing, he requests a few changes before his trial begins. Walsh, representing himself in court Thursday morning, was granted a motion of continuance. Walsh has 30 days to file a motion for a change of venue and a new judge. A trial date has been tentatively set for Dec. 9. But, if the motions are granted, it could push back the start date.
Rockford - The man accused of killing a woman and leading police on a high speed chase is back in court.
Deputy State's Attorney Marilyn Hite-Ross says an expert analyzing Kody Walsh's fingerprints needs more time. A judge granted the extension.
Walsh is due back in court Dec. 5.
