Rockford Man Accused Of Accidentally Killing A Man Enters Plea

ROCKFORD - Joshua Peppers, 31, enters a plea in court during his arriagnment hearing today in regards to a fatal hit and run that left a utility worker dead.

UPDATE: Peppers appeared in court Monday for an arraignment hearing.  He entered a plea of not guilty.

ROCKFORD - Joshua Peppers was assigned a bond of $250 thousand. He faces several charges including leaving the scene of an accident involving a death.

The deadly accident happened on Wednesday at the intersection of 35th and Sandy Hollow. Police believe Peppers hit 54-year-old Clinton Dale Siens, and then fled the scene. Siens died on the scene.

Peppers will be back in court October 7th.
