Rockford police and an Illinois Dept. of Corrections parole agent went to check on 30-year-old Albert Scott, who was on an electronic monitoring bracelet. The Corrections officer called police because the bracelet showed Scott was inside his apartment at 2224 Hancock, but he would not answer. They found out why very quickly.
Once the officer convinced Scott to let them inside, the Parole Agent says he found 12 grams of heroin, 40 grams of cocaine, drug packaging materials and $2,250 in cash.
Scott was arrested on possesion of drugs with intent to deliver and possesion of drug paraphernalia. He is being held in the Winnebago County Jail without bond.
