Runners Hit the Pavement at Annual Jingle Bell Run

The freezing cold temperatures couldn't keep Stateline runners from raising money for arthritis.

ROCKFORD- The 24th Annual Jingle Bell 5K Run was held this morning. Eyewitness News Anchor Nick Toma was the special guest emcee. Over 1,300 people participated.

One foundation member appreciates the Stateline effort. "Having people come out and support this cause is wonderful because it helps us with our research, our programming, to help be able to better support the arthritis patients as that number grows over the years," said Arthritis Foundation’s Michelle Quast.

The cause continues through December 23rd.
