Janesville teen Jonathan Presti, 19, has been missing since Labor Day. He was last seen leaving his girlfriend's residence at Trinity College in the Chicago suburb Palos Heights.
His family is hoping the public can help bring him home. "It’s uneasy, you know emotional about worrying about his well being, where is he. We would like to hear some information from him or anybody that knows his whereabouts," said Jonathan’s Father Joe Presti.
It’s believed Presti was headed back to Janesville riding his bright green and black Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle with Wisconsin license plates.
"He been known to, in the past, take the interstate down to her residence to visit but then on the way back he's been known to take some sort of back roads route to the Janesville area. To say exactly which road he would have been on is very tricky," explained Rock County Sheriff’s Office Commander Troy Knudson.
Because he could have taken back roads home and not Interstate 90 Police say the area is so large it's hard to narrow down the search. Presti has not used any credit and debit cards or social media since he was last seen.
"Being a relatively young adult here he was very tied into social media and we aren't seeing any evidence that he's using that social media to contact any friends or family," explained Knudson.
Rock County Sheriff's Office is urging officers that patrol rural areas between Janesville and the Chicago suburbs to be on the lookout.
