UPDATE -- Rockford Police have released the following updated information and a generic photo of the vehicle involved in a deadly hit and run crash Monday night.
- 1999-2001 GMC Jimmy SUV
- Missing its black colored passenger’s side door mirror
- Vehicle may be maroon in color or have after-market maroon colored front spoiler.
- The vehicle will have front end and passenger’s side damage

ROCKFORD -- The Rockford Police Department is looking for a dark colored late 90’s to early 2000 model GMC Jimmy Sport Utility Vehicle they say was involved in the fatal hit and run traffic crash on State Street.
27 year old Weixue Liu, a resident of Shanghai China, was killed. The second victim is identified as 36 year old Zhang Xin from Shaghai China, who police say is in grave condition at the hospital and will not survive his injuries.
Two other pedestrians who were co-workers of the victims and also residents of Shanghai China were walking west bound in the 7600 block of East State Street when the two men were struck, but they were not hurt. Police say the four men had just been dropped off at the bus terminal at the Clock Tower Resort. They were coming from O'Hare Int'l Airport. They're customers at UTC Aerospace.
