ROCKFORD - As the temperatures continue top drop, so gas prices.

ROCKFORD - As the temperatures continue top drop, so gas prices.

GasBuddy.com reports the average price for regular, unleaded in the Forest City is now $3.33, down only one cent in the past week.  But, prices could drop further relatively soon.

"It wouldn't be surprising to see the average move slightly downward in the next couple weeks "says Patrick DeHaan, Senior Petroleum Analyst for GasBuddy.com.  "January and February see some of weakest demand for gasoline in the year."

Gas prices on average are seven cents higher today than they were one year ago.
