Bears Williams Done For Season

Bears linebacker DJ Williams will miss the rest of the season with a torn pec muscle.
LAKE FOREST, IL – The Chicago Bears learned LB D.J. Williams ruptured his left pectoralis muscle tendon and will miss the remainder of the season.

Williams started four-of-six games played for the Bears this season recording 35 tackles, two sacks, one forced fumble and two tackles for losses.

During his 10-year NFL career with Denver (2004-12) and Chicago (2013), Williams has started 119-of-133 games played, recording 921 tackles, 22.5 sacks, 15 forced fumbles, seven fumble recoveries and two interceptions.     

Rookie Jonathan Bostic is expected to start in Williams' place.
