Boylan vs. Hononegah Girls Regional

Boylan knocked off Hononegah Thursday at the 4A Hononegah Regional.
ROCKTON-Boylan stayed red hot Thursday night. The Titans pulled away late to beat Hononegah 59-47 at the 4A Honongah Regional. It's the Titans 20th consecutive win.

The Titans trailed by two points at half time. But they dominated the third quarter and the early minutes of the fourth to build up a 15 point lead. But Hononegah roared back to knot up the game at 47. But the Indians ran out of gas and the Titans had one more run in them.

"It's real special," said Boylan senior Jensen Blassage. "I've been waiting for this moment like my whole life going two years without winning regionals. This is a great team. We've really come together."

"Hononegah is so tough," said Boylan Coach Paul Perrone. "They fought back, but our girls kept their composure and were able to come down and make some nice shots."
