Brown Still Undecided About His Future

Hononegah graduate David Brown is still undecided about whether or not to return to Western Michigan.
ROCKFORD-Hononegah graduate David Brown is still undecided about whether or not to go for another season of eligibility at Western Michigan University. Brown could apply with the NCAA for an extra season because of all the injuries he suffered as a freshman and a sophomore.

Broncos coach Steve Hawkins told reporters this week that Brown is still weighing whether or not he wants to go through with the application process, or if he'll pursue a professional basketball career. Brown should come to a decision shortly.

“I think it’s going to be soon,” Hawkins said. “I would say before signing day, in the next couple of weeks he’ll make his mind up on whether or not he wants to return or whether or not he’s leaning towards playing overseas right away.”

Brown led the Broncos to 23 wins this past season, and he led the MAC in scoring at 19.1 points per game.
