Injury Sidelines NIU's Stingily

Running Back Cameron Stingily is expected to miss at least four games.
DEKALB-NIU will not only be without Jordan Lynch when it opens the football season. It'll also be without it's other one thousand yard rusher from last year.

Running back Cameron Stingily has an undisclosed injury. Head coach Rod Carey confirmed that after practice Tuesday. Carey wouldn't say what the injury is. Stingly is expected to miss at least four regular season games. That means he'll miss out on key non-conference games against Northwestern, Arkansas, and UNLV.

He could be ready to go though for the Huskies' MAC opener October 4th against Kent State.

Last season Stingly made a successful conversion from linebacker to running back. He rushed for 1,119 yards and nine touchdowns. His power running style made him especially effective in the red zone.
