Belvidere,Ill.- The Coon Creek Casters held the 26th Annual Carp-a-thon Saturday in Belvidere. It's the longest-running carp fishing tournament in Illinois. Kids and adults headed out to the Kishwaukee River and brought back their biggest carp of the day to be weighed. All carp entered were from the Kishwaukee River, the Rock River and their tributaries. $200 cash was given to the person with the largest carp and other prizes were awarded to the top fifteen fishermen.
