Packers Fans May Not Get to Watch Their Team on TV

WQRF/WTVO - If you're a fan of the Packers, you might not get to see your team in action unless you head to the game on Sunday.
WQRF/WTVO - If you're a fan of the Packers, you might not get to see your team in action unless you head to Lambeau Field.

That's because the game may be blacked out. Under NFL requirements, a team must sell every game ticket to avoid a television blackout. Now that doesn't mean every seat has to be filled on game day -- just sold.

Our Green Bay affiliate station is telling Eyewitness News that 3,000 tickets remain for Sunday's game.

One fan bought his ticket today and decided he's going to brave the cold one more time.

"I thought what the heck, i went to a cold game before the giants playoff game so i thought i can survive another one"

As expected, the deadline to sell out is extended to Friday afternoon.
