The Guilford boys bowling team took home the big trophy Saturday at O'Fallon.
O'FALLON, IL-Guilford's boys bowling team got hot when it counted. The Vikings won the State Championship Saturday. They were in second place going into the day, but they leaped ahead of O'Fallon for the title.
The Vikings averaged 218.5 through 60 games. They finished 105 pins ahead of Andrew Park. Harlem finished in fourth place 380 pins back of Guilford. Hononegah took sixth place 544 pins back.
Guilford was lead by a packe of five senior bowlers:

It's the Vikings' second State Championship in three years.
