Abandoned Business Building Catches Fire

ROCKFORD - An abandoned business building catches fire late Wednesday night.

It happened just before 11:30pm at 1600 S. Main St.  As firefighters arrived on scene, flames were shooting out of the building, punching a huge hole through the roof.  It took nearly two dozen firefighters two hours to put it out. 

The incident is considered to be accidental.  Crews estimate $5,000 in damage.  No one was hurt.
