Airfest Gives Recruiters a Chance to Meet with Stateliners

Rockford- Airfest 2014 gives Stateliners a chance to meet with recruiters from the military. They met with individuals like 16 year old Chris Rodriguez who dreams of working on a Thunderbird plane. The event gives those in attendance a chance to meet up close and personal with members of the military.

Joe Adam served in the AirForce and talked with Eyewitness News about the importance of these type of events for the military, and how he uses event to also meet people and tell them about the benefits of the military. Officials are giving early estimates that more than 120,000 people came out for Airfest 2014.
