Rockford- The National Action Network held a town hall meeting Saturday in Rockford. They discussed many issues concerning the Forest City’s African American community, such as the criminal justice system and the Rockford Public Schools.

The National Action Network was founded by reverend Al Sharpton. The Chicago chapter has been around for six years. They hope to have more meetings in the near future.
