WTVO/WQRF - If you bought an E-book through Amazon.com between April 2010 and May 2012, you could receive a partial credit.
The New York State Attorney general says this comes after a price-fixing settlement with five publishers. They say these publishers' actions were illegal and forced customers across the country to pay artificially inflated prices for E-books.
Simon and Schuster, Harpercollins, and Hachette Book Group are some of the publishers involved in the settlement.
It applies to people who bought books through Amazon and Kobo with devices made by Amazon, Apple and Sony.
These credits expire March 31, 2015.
