Avoid the Crowds and Lines: Stateline Website Offers One Stop Holiday Shopping

Forget about all the pushing and shoving. Shop black Friday deals while polishing off that left over turkey. Fatwallet.com, based in Beloit, has hired more people just for the season.

PR Manager for Fatwallet.com Brent Shelton says "as a local business this time of year we even staff up so we can take care of any possible customer issues, make sure the website is up to date and relevant as possible with all the coupons and discounts.

The site is offering more than 22,000 different deals for black Friday and cyber Monday.

Shelton explains "It's a one stop shop to compare prices on all the products you're looking to buy during the holiday whether it is gifts or you're shopping for yourself."

Fatwallet.com recently moved their headquarters from Illinois to Wisconsin because of tax hikes. They're expecting 20 million visitors to the web page during this weekend alone.

Shopper Melissa Schraber says "we've been looking for TVs, big screen TVs. And there's a lot of deals out there right now for those. So we're just looking at all the different options and just trying to find out what the best deal is."

The days of camping out in the cold waiting to get your hands on that door buster are slowly fading.

Scharaber says "absolutely not I'd rather sit behind my computer screen and search all the deals online in my pajamas and just stay warm."

Experts recommend making a list, doing a little bit of research and using online resources like fatwallet.com to ensure consumers don't over spend.
