Bears DT Ray McDonald Arrested on Domestic Violence Charges

CHICAGO (WLS) -- WLS-TV has confirmed with Santa Clara police that Chicago Bears defensive lineman Ray McDonald has been arrested ion domestic violence and child endangerment charges.

Police tell WLS that McDonald was arrested around 7 a.m. in San Jose for alleged incidents that took place in Santa Clara, Calif.

McDonald's signing by the Bears was controversial because he has a history of allegations of violence against women, including domestic violence and sex assault which led to his release by his former team, the San Francisco 49ers.
