Rockford, IL – Due to a water pipe break, Burpee Museum was closed Thursday, December 26 and Friday, December 27. The lower level will be closed to visitors, but the museum will be open today and Sunday 10am to 5pm.

They are still assessing the damage to the specimen to see which they can save, and which ones are completely destroyed. Museum officials say they are thankful for all the support from the community, and the volunteers.
