ROCKFORD - The autopsy on the man killed during a party at a Rockford home early Sunday morning has been completed, revealing he was shot "multiple times," according to the Winnebago County Coroner.
That shooting took place around 7 a.m. Sunday in the 400 block of Howard Avenue.
Theodore Daniel, 31, of Rockford, was the man shot and killed. Four others were also hurt, but suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
911 dispatch records show a neighbor of the residence where the shooting took place called the emergency line about an hour before the shooting to report excessive noise at the party, but was told to call the non-emergency line instead, but no authorities responded to the house until after the shooting took place.
Rockford Police continue to investigate Daniel's death. No arrests have been made.
