Family Party Turns Violent In Rockford

ROCKFORD - Rockford police make multiple arrests after a family party turns violent Saturday night. Officers responded to the 900 block of Kent Street after a shots fired call. Police say a large group of people were fighting outside of a home where they were having a family gathering. Police reports indicate that one of the suspects pepper sprayed the group of people causing a physical fight. Then minutes later officers say a man pulled up in his car and fired a gun. No one was injured, but police arrested four suspects for mob action.
