FREEPORT - Operation Glass House nets its 55th arrest.

John Fernandez, 23, is charged with seven counts of possessing child pornography and three counts of dissemination of child pornography.

"It is difficult to fully convey how serious a crime child pornography is" says Attorney General Lisa Madigan.  "[We'll] be relentless in tracking down and apprehending offenders who trade these horrific videos."

Operation Glass House was launched in 2010.  Its purpose is to investigate the most active child pornography traders in the state.

Fernandez is currently being held in the Stephenson County Jail with a bond of $200,000.  Each of the seven counts carry a maximum penalty of 30 years in prison.
