Freeport School District Rescinds Carl Sandburg Plan

FREEPORT - Freeport School District will not move forward with its restructuring plan to Carl Sandburg.

The Board of Education voted unanimously at a special meeting Tuesday night to rescind the entire approved plan.
That's because of the recently approved waiver from certain requirements of the No Child Left Behind Act. The board says it will work with the state to create a better educational plan
