ROCKFORD - Drivers get a very small break from high gas prices.
GasBuddy.com reports the average price for regular, unleaded in the Forest City is now $3.70/g, that's down two cents from last week. It inches us a little closer to the rest of the nation, which is now paying $3.62/g after seeing prices go up two cents.
"The national average now stands at its highest level since last August" says Senior Petroleum Analyst Patrick DeHaan.
DeHaan warns as the temperatures start to rise, so will gas prices. But, there is some good news.
"We could see some relief as soon as May rolls in."
