Giovanni's hosting this year's fundraising auction which promotes awareness of the number one killer in America. In fact, heart disease actually kills more women than men in the U.S.
Organizers say more stateline companies are encouraging heart healthy lifestyles of their employees and that's good progress.
"We get a good reaction from companies that want to support us and because it is the number one killer, somebody always knows someone that's been affected by the disease," says Shondra Mclarty, organizer for "Go Red for Women."
"Go Red" estimates more than 600,000 women in the U.S. have been saved from fatal heart disease because of awareness and research efforts.
